Yoshiko Kakita is Regional Solution Manager of Elsevier, responsible for research intelligence solutions such as Scopus, SciVal, and Pure in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Prior to joining Elsevier ten years ago, she spent ten years living and studying in Taiwan, France and the United States. Yoshiko has a Master of Arts degree in history from the University of Houston – Clear Lake; and withdrew with ABD (All But Dissertation) status as a Ph.D. candidate in History at Boston College.
